I was raised Roman Catholic, but fell in love with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church when I began volunteering at a convent many years ago. Its Liturgy and traditions reached me in a way the Latin Rite never had and I find it almost intoxicating. The many wonderful people I have met through it (my very best friends, priests, deacons, bishops, seminarians, nuns, fellow volunteers, etc) make me love it even more. 

The Eastern Rite is incredibly beautiful. And through it I have also developed an appreciation for Orthodoxy. Hence, this blog. I hope you like it.
